For summer 2019, we are accepting applications for C.I.T.’s and Lifeguards. We will call to schedule interviews starting in mid-January.

Camp Briar Hill is a great place to work! We have a tremendous staff that we are very proud of. Much of our staff returns year after year. We feel that Briar Hill is a terrific place for young people to gain valuable experience while still having fun.
Most of our camp staff start as counselors in training (C.I.T.s). C.I.T.s must be 14 years of age by the start of camp. These are unpaid positions, although they do receive tips from parents at the end of the summer. They “learn the ropes” from more experienced counselors. Our paid counselors are almost exclusively chosen from our C.I.T.s.
To be considered, you must download and submit an application. Applicants must include three references. Each reference must fill out and submit a Briar Hill Reference Form (download above). We begin accepting applications in November & December. We call to schedule interviews starting in mid-January after we have heard back from our returning staff. Interviews consist of a short meeting with two members of our leadership team so that we can get to know applicants. Hiring is selective. Not all applicants will be interviewed and not all interviews will result in an employment offer. Please fill out your application carefully and tell us why you will be a great addition to Briar Hill.
